Headline: Bombed in Hanoi!

After our Johnny fueled, paint shaker run through the Vietnamese countryside...we decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner!...that's when the fightin' started...maybe I was a few Corona's into the dinner when I got this look from Cassandra...
...in case you don't know it, that's the "don't do it a#*hole" look...you only get one of those a night!  That put an end to the streaking thoughts...besides, it's kind of cold in Hanoi...who'd see anything?  And where would I have gone in this restaurant?
...the food was ok, but just.  So today we were off to explore the old part of town...full of streets like this...
...and this...
...with little side alleys like this...
...and this...
...and that is where I found another one of Vietnam's beauties...
...we had lunch, and after 12 minutes of walking, Cassandra had to stop for food...
...that was close to the place where they carve gravestones right there on the street......and statues to celebrate the great victory...
...as you can see, people lay fresh flowers on it daily...and the balloon guy just prances around in the traffic!
Time for a wee drinkiepoo!
