So, most of you know I'm here for some dental work...I broke 2 teeth a
few months back, and we didn't want to sell the house to pay to fix them
in Vancouver, so here we are. It's not like I've never been to a
dentist, but the first guy we saw...it just seemed like his equipment
was a little outdated...
...he
had an assistant to crank the drill and everything! The chair was more
comfortable than the ones on PA! So we decided to get a couple more
opinions, and boy was I surprised...
...but
they wanted to do an x-ray, so I said sure...is there a bar in the
x-ray place...they laughed which made me nervous...then they took me in a
room with all these cool machines, and the girl and I dressed up in
heavy clothes...then she said open my mouth, and she put in the film.
Everything went fine...well, except for the part where she should have
said "bite down"...you know, to hold the film in place and
everything...so I beat her to it and bit down...hmmmmm...she wasn't fond
of that because it was her finger I bit...she didn't cry or
anything...well, not in front of me anyway...I don't know...Kind of
tasted like ear. So after they threw us out of there, we still needed
another opinion...and this was around the corner from our hotel...
...they do dental offices different over here. And speaking of hotels...see this one...
...we don't stay there, but it looks real nice. They don't have $40 rooms in that hotel. Our room is real nice...see
Bangkok is a very modern city, with ultra-modern buildings...not so much our hotel, but like these...
...and like any self-respecting large city, they have traffic...

don't know how she does it, but Cassandra roped me into shopping with
her for a special $10 fountain pen...well, you don't want to hear how
she abuses poor, easy-going Mr. Corona...but f that...she dragged me
around Bangkok for a good 10 hours...and we'd lost the cops (remember, I
bit that dental assistant...I still think they could re-attach that
finger) after only 2!!! Finally I put my foot down..."I'm
thirsty"...and guess what? Yep...
This is our favourite place to eat....and DRINK!!!
